This year we have been writing letters to our new friends in Notre Dame Elementary School in Bandipur, Nepal. First, we studied the rules of English writing and then brainstormed different questions we can ask the students in Nepal. Our students wrote messages and decorated their letters with drawings of their favorite things. We all finished the letters and were ready to send them out.

   Unfortunately, due to the corona virus, we are not able to send our letters at this moment. We can take this chance to become more aware of how other countries are dealing with this pandemic. We hope that our new friends in Nepal can go back to school as soon as possible. So let’s all stay healthy and safe.
