  Looking back at the first semester

The first semester is almost over! Here are some comments from the Notre Dame native English teachers.

Hello, boys and girls. I had a great time with the 2nd and 5th graders this year. With the 2nd graders we learned the "in" "on" and "under" song and played hide and seek with Piggie. With the 5th graders we have been reading the Notre Dame original story series "MM Story". I hope everyone had as much fun learning as I had teaching. I'm looking forward to the next semester.

This semester I taught the 3rd and 4th graders. I was also in charge of English Morning Time where we recorded video of English teachers reading English stories. Students should be very familiar with our Piggie and Gerald series. I enjoyed the first semester very much and I'm glad to see everyone improving in their English. We are all excited about the second semester! Thank you!

Hi everyone! This is Willy. It was my second time teaching the 1st graders and first time teaching the 6th graders this semester.

For the 1st graders, we had lots of fun in class with a help from the home room teachers. They were really helpful and kids really enjoyed HR teachers to get involved in the English class!

With the 6th graders, we made an English poster about our town and did a group presentation! It was challenging, and looking forward to some more next semester!

On the side, I was responsible for helping English Broadcasting, English Moring Time and posting ND English diaries. I'm also in soccer club and had a great time kicking the ball with the 5th and 6th graders! I'm already excited for the next semester!! Thanks!!
