Well, two more months and it's the end of another school year!  It's time to reflect on this year. For me it is my team-teaching relationships and how those affect us in the classroom.

As far as I'm concerned, this year was great because I have been grouped with teachers who have great passion for teaching!  They are very efficient and responsible. We respect each other and try to know each other on a personal level. You may not believe it but we address each other with words of endearment, such as Sweety or Hon or Dear! It has become a habit and we end up addressing our students like that, too.

Don't get me wrong, of course there were inevitable struggles along the way, like times when our personalities and opinions clashed, but because we understood and respected each other's strengths and weaknesses we could overcome these obstacles; and now I can say that my co-teachers and I really GEL!!!!! It has become easier for us to collaborate and discuss our teaching styles and try to fill-in the gap to be able to work as a united whole.

Obviously, in effective Team Teaching, co-teachers must click not conflict! We must complement not detract! We must know the subject well!  We must support, contribute and carry the load 100% e.g.  creating lesson presentations through power points and  making the worksheets and copies. In the classroom we must  work together so that, as our principal said at our New Year meeting, we can " Let the students shine!"
